Reflection For Term 2 Week 5
This week we presented one of our final design for our game. But Mr. Varella was not satisfied with our efforts, and told us to be more creative and add into the game more interesting and fun for the players. We were told to meet up and design our board to make it even more attractive and try to add in like a type of currency into our game.

Reflection Term 2 Week 4
This week when we presented our two projects to him, we then decided to do the weather game and not the air-condition experiment. He told us to try to quickly make our game and a survey, so that we can let primary school students try our game out and then do the survey. He told us to make the final product quickly and told us to meet up so that we could brainstorm together.

Reflection For Week 3 Term 2
This week we told Mr. Varella that we still going to stick with our weather game, but he told us that we could continue with he new project as well as the old project so he grouped us into two new groups, me and Marc doing the weather game while Kenko and Glenn doing the new project.
Mr. Varella suggested to Marc and me to try making any card game we wanted if we could not improve our weather game to make it more interesting. He told us to meet up and tell him our new card game.

Reflection For Week 2 Term 2
This week we proposed to Mr. Varella a new project plan, he told us that we might not have time to complete but if we wanted to continue we should look for Mr. Marc for help in the building of the object. We tried to plan if we could complete it in time and whether we can get the sufficient amount of money to get the items needed for the new project. Before the proposal, we showed him our survey questions for the weather game, but told us to change our survey questions as it was meant for people who have not played the game.

Reflection For Week 8
This week we were to finish our final draft over the March term break. We showed him what we were exactly are doing for our weather card game, and he told us to make a draft copy of it and try playing the game among ourselves. He approved our idea of our game but told us to find any bad points of the game and improve it while we were playing the game. He also told use to think of a minimum of ten survey questions for our weather card game.

Reflection For Week 7
Reflection For Week 7
Today, Mr Varella saw our draft again. He told us the game was kind of dull and needed us to add something, which would make it more interesting and attractive for players to play.
He gave us even more ideas this time round, but our group has agreed on adding colour on the side of each families so that if your family match, the colour on the card too have to match.

Reflection For Week 6
This week we showed Mr. Varella our draft for our final copy, but he was not really satisfied with what we presented. He told us to go and brainstorm again for about ten minutes and to present to him our draft again.
He approved of it and told us to work more as a group and try to meet up with each other to do more brain storming for our weather game. He gave us a survey and asked us to complete it by the next lesson.

Reflection for week 4
Week 4 and 5 Reflection
During this lesson, we presented our final presentation on what our weather game was actually about. Mr. Varella told us on week three to look up for some keywords for our weather game, but we only found some keywords as some contradict each other and the players may get confused.
So this week we have to complete all our research as we were told that the next lesson we had to hand up our full and complete project which is our weather game. Mr. Varella also continue to give us some wonderful ideas of how we could make our game even more fun, interesting and allowing the players to interact with the game.

Our Weather Game
Our Weather Game
What The Players Would Learn After Playing The Game?
1) They would learn about global warming, acid rain and more.
2) They would learn what causes them and if they had contributed to the outcome of such weather.
3) They would also learn how to prevent it
4) They would learn ways of doing things differently and how this would help save the earth.
What Is The Game about?
1) Each family is made of up 4 cards.
2) The aim is to match all the cards of one family e.g. If you have the card on global warming, you have to find the other three cards which are
a. The prevention of global warming,
b. What is global warming and
c. What triggers global warming.
3) If you got all these four cards, you now have one complete family.
4) At the end of the game, whoever has the most families is the winner of the game.
5) The game is to help players understand about different forms of weather and how we can make do our part to save the earth.
6) It also teaches the players what each global warming effect would do to earth and how it affects activities of all living creatures on the earth.
What are the rules of the game?
1) Each player take turns to place a card in the centre of the table. Whoever wants the card can take the card and the person who placed the card in the centre can draw another card.
2) When a person has three cards already and the last card he needs is placed on the centre of the table, he/she has to shout the name of the weather family e.g. “Global Warming!”, “Acid Rain!” or whatever weather family they are forming.
3) If two people want the card, the card goes to whoever have the most of that family gets the card first.
Weathers the game may be going to cover on:
1) Global Warming
2) Acid Rain
3) Hail Storm
4) Earthquake
5) Cyclone
6) Flood
7) Wildfires
8) Volcano Eruption
9) Landslides
10) Snow and Ice
11) Avalanche and many more.
Week 2 Reflection

week 2 reflection
We had to choose a topic we wanted to do and then discuss whether the topic would be suitable for us. Our project was to check for weather conditions which would affect the activities of frogs living at East Coast Park. The project was not successful as after three trips to East Coast Park where the frogs were supposed to be, we could not find a single frog to observe.
So we decided to change the topic of our project and design a weather card game instead. This project will help educate the players to understand and learn as they play the game on how to protect and prevent more damage to mother earth.
